My name is Claudia Boldrini, I am 26 years old and I live in Anguillara Sabazia. I was born in Bracciano on the 2nd April 1995. I’ve always spent my time with very young children since I was young. My attitude and my passion for following the young children’s growth have always been followed by the love for the English language that I began to study in primary school.
I started studying Social Studies in Secondary School in September 2009 and finished in 2014 when I graduated. These studies were focused on psychology, pedagogy, sociology and cultural anthropology and were followed by internships in a primary school and a retirement home.
From September 2014 until July 2016 I worked in various nursery schools in the north of Rome.
My experience was growing and the passion for this job led me to start University in October 2016 studying Educational Sciences at Roma Tre University in Rome.
My studies at the University were followed by private English lessons focused on the Cambridge PET exam. I received the Cambridge PET certificate in March 2015 and In January 2017 I completed the Cambridge FIRST certificate.
At the same time I had the opportunity to meet Justyna: she was looking for an English teacher to join in her cultural association. It’s been an enormous opportunity to continue to work with children of different ages with the aim of teaching them English through many creative activities such as art, cooking and recycling. I taught in different places as a teacher with many groups of children from 2 to 10 years old: Nepi, Trevignano Romano, Le Rughe and Formello. I also taught English together with Justyna in an infant school in Cesano with children from 3 to 6 years old during their mornings lessons.
I taught English in the cultural association until February 2020. On the 16th March 2020 I graduated as educator in Educational Sciences in Roma Tre University.
In these years I have improved my skills and knowledge as educator and as an English teacher as well. All of the children’s smiles are still in my mind and my heart.
In summer 2020 I had the opportunity to join in the Summer Camp in Northlands International with different groups of children of different ages. In the hot days of Summer Camp I let them approach with different art techniques and famous artists.
At the end of summer 2020 I began to work in Northlands International as the Red and Yellow Lions’ teacher together with the English, Maths and Phonics teacher. In this class the children were 5-6 years old and I taught Outdoor Learning, Science and English Theme Work. In addition, I taught art in one of the Year 2 classes once a week.
In summer 2021 I joined in the Summer Camp and in September 2021 I began the new school year as the Foxes teacher’s assistant with the 3 years-old children.
My skills and my knowledge are growing day by day together with my enthusiasm in learning and being and educator.
